The app helps users (a) request assistance in linking a mobile number with a Voter ID (EPIC) and (b) reach the official ECI portal to download their e-EPIC. We do not issue voter IDs and we do not guarantee the outcome of any government process.
2. Information we handle
- No account, no login, no server database. The app does not send the EPIC number or mobile number you type to any server owned by us.
- On your device only: the last EPIC number you entered may be saved in your phone's local storage for convenience. You can clear it any time from the app (Data Deletion page) or by clearing app data.
- WhatsApp: when you tap "Send request on WhatsApp", the details you chose to send (EPIC, mobile number, and payment reference if any) are sent by you to our WhatsApp number. We use them only to deliver the service you requested.
3. OTP and sensitive credentials
We never ask for your bank PIN, UPI PIN, Aadhaar OTP or passwords. Do not share an OTP with anyone except where you have yourself requested our assisted service and only for that single request. Downloading your e-EPIC is done by you on the official portal.
4. How we use and share information
Details you send us on WhatsApp are used only to provide the requested service, to handle support and refund requests, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell your data. We share it with no one except where the law requires. [If AdMob or any other SDK is used, list it here with the data it collects, e.g. advertising ID.]
5. Third-party services
The app opens third-party services: the ECI portal (voters.eci.gov.in), WhatsApp, and UPI apps. They have their own privacy policies; we are not responsible for their practices.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep WhatsApp request details only as long as needed to complete the service and handle disputes (up to [X] days), then delete them. You can request deletion of all data we hold about you at any time via the Data Deletion page in the app or by contacting us above.
7. Your rights
In line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may withdraw consent, ask for correction or erasure of your data, and raise a grievance with us.
8. Children
The service is for users aged 18 and above. Do not use it for anyone under 18 without a parent or guardian.
9. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us, but no method of transmission is 100% secure.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date above will change when we do.
